Within a short walk of our front doors are a wealth of places to make your visit a special one - a six-screen cinema, coffee shops, retail outlets, easy parking, bars & restaurants and there’s even a Travelodge hotel if you want to make your visit longer. Just the shortest of walks away is Llanelli’s historic town centre. Once renowned for its’ tin industry, the bustling town centre boasts an extensive covered market, brimming with both local produce & characters alike. You can visit Llanelly House as seen on BBC One’s Restoration with Gruff Rhys Jones, the newly refurbished Llanelli Library, the main shopping centre and enjoy a wealth of established, quality eateries.

Llanelli is home to the mighty Scarlets, our world famous rugby team. Their new home is a £23m, 15,000 capacity stadium - Parc y Scarlets, which is located just out of town at Pemberton Park. With such strong rugby roots and some of the most loyal and passionate supporters in world rugby, the Scarlets and Llanelli are a remarkable story of history, success, pride and passion in the world of sport.

Just a short journey out of town brings you to the stunning coastline overlooking the Gower Peninsula. Here, you can visit The National Wetland Centre, a 450 acre mosaic of lakes, pools, streams and lagoons with its unique plant & animal life including the centre’s world wildfowl collection and seasonal flocks of wild birds numbering up to 50,000 strong.

The nearby Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club is proud to boast the first Nicklaus designed golf course in Wales, situated on the site of a sixth century monastery, hence the name of their premier spa and health club - Monks.

A little further out of town, the new Ffos Las racecourse has brought back top class horse-racing to West Wales for the first time since 1937. The setting is magnificent, with views down the Gwendraeth Valley to Carmarthen Bay.

If something a little less energetic is your preference, enjoy walking the Millennium Coastal Path with its magnificent views & bracing sea-air, rounding off your walk with a meal at Sosban, awarded AA Restaurant of the Year for Wales 2012-2013.
