A brand-new interpretation of this ghost-filled ballet tells the tragic, romantic story of a young Welsh girl named Giselle, who falls in love but dies of heartbreak. 

Featuring Adolphe Adam’s original and hauntingly classical score, innovative choreography by Darius James OBE and Amy Doughty, exceptional and distinctive costumes and immersive video projections.

What is a relaxed performance?

Relaxed performances are open to anyone to attend, and are specially designed for children, young people or adults who may have disabilities, additional support needs and those on the autistic spectrum.

What to expect from the relaxed performance of Giselle on the 31st May at 3pm:

  • Approximately one hour long, with no interval
  • Bilingual narration
  • Makaton interpretation
  • Opportunity to meet and interact with the dancers before and after the performance
  • Softened music and sound effects
  • A light auditorium
  • Audience members can make noise and move around the auditorium during the performance
  • A quiet, comfortable ‘break out’ space
